The essence of the principle lies in the fact that an employee, who is nominated to work with a particular customer, leads him from the very beginning of the transportation until it is finished, i.e. from the customer’s inquiry until issuing a final bill for the transfer.

This employee can at any time tell you where exactly your cargo is located at present moment, when it is expected to arrive at final destination and all the other details relating to the transportation, and he will never redirect you to another department saying that he is not in charge for one or another stage of transportation.
